Explore above and you will see what a fantastic coastline this is. There is unrestricted waliking over the headland and along the rugged coastline without having to negotiate fences. The roads are great for cycling or walking being quiet and single track. We recommend bringing bicycles even just to travel the mile and a quarter to Mellon beach.
Directions
Turn off the A832 at Laide filling station. Follow this very scenic road to Mellon Udrigle (approx 3 miles). As you come down the hill into Mellon Udrigle, take the first road left signposted to Opinan. Carry on for 1.3 miles until you reach a turning point at the end of the public road. You will see Obinan Croft on your right hand side. The house name is on the gate.
